We are looking forward to a big celebration on July 17th when our brother Stanley Omal and his fiancée Grace are getting married.
In Uganda the wedding celebration is a big affair with many gifts that must be given to family and friends. These gifts include cows, meat, salt, sugar, soap, paraffin, matches, and many other things. In addition there are expenses for wedding gowns, suits, transportation, wedding cake, rings, and photos.
Stanley is one of the orphans that Emily rescued from the streets and brought into her home. He has been a faithful, humble administrator of the ministry in Uganda while Emily has been back in the States. He doesn’t have much and has already gathered money from friends and family. He lacks about $680 USD in funds to pay for all of the elements of a proper Ugandan wedding celebration.
Please consider if you are able to sponsor part or all of a cow ($270 USD), the wedding cake ($54 USD), the wedding rings ($108 USD), the wedding dress ($54 USD), or the groom’s suit ($54). A gift of any size would be a blessing. Your prayers for the bride and groom are greatly appreciated.
